I came across this post today and think it's a wonderful must-read for anyone that owns or works with horses. My only difference of opinion lays within the walking of the horse--it's fine to take breaks from walking and let the horse stand quietly. In my experience, sometimes that little break will allow the horse to fart and/or poop, which is excellent!
