Past Kentucky Derby winners I've seen

I've been fortunate to see some past Kentucky Derby winners over the years. Here are photographs of a few of them.

My brother and I with the ill-fated Ferdinand in 1994. He won the 1986 Kentucky Derby.

The dappled butt of Fusaichi Pegasus, 2000 Derby winner.

Funny Cide, who had a shot at the Triple Crown in 2003.

The very handsome Giacomo, 2005 Kentucky Derby winner.

Go For Gin, 1994 Derby winner.

Smarty Jones, 2004 Derby and Preakness winner (and one of my favorites).

The small Thunder Gulch, winner of the 1995 Derby (and another favorite).

A very famous stall at Claiborne that belonged to two Kentucky Derby winners: Secretariat (1973) and Unbridled (1990).

The best way to attend the Kentucky Derby is to purchase a package that includes your tickets to the Derby and Oaks (upgrades available), Airport Transfers, Hotel Accommodations, Hospitality access, a free gift and much more.
