Sweet-faced mare

I found these photos yesterday while uploading the pics for yesterday's blog and realized I hadn't shared them on here. They were taken in October or November of 2011 and they clearly illustrate Limerick's sweet face.

As those close to Lim know, she is a mare of many expressions--observant, excited, cute, pleading, annoyed, silly, curious, joyous, sneaky, angry, resigned, sleepy, and so much more. But she also has a very, very sweet face when she is relaxed, as she is here. The sun, mild temperatures, and the company of her boyfriend--what more does a girl need? Well, the gates to the grassy pasture being opened would probably complete the picture!
