A hot evening at Gladstone

Sore lack of riding lately

Unfortunately I haven't been able to ride as much as I'd like over the past couple weeks. I blame weather and an (irrational???) fear of inadvertently causing Limerick to lose another shoe.

On that note, although a small patch of epoxy did come off, Lim's hooves have been doing well so far. She continues to wear the bell boot/fly boot ensemble every day.

New shoes

Lim was hot-shoed last night. The farrier also put a lot of epoxy, etc on. Fingers crossed she keeps these on...

Lim's new shoes

Limerick was hot-shoed last night; I don't remember the last time she was. The farrier also applied several layers of epoxy and other materials to help the shoes stay on.
I really hope they do...losing three shoes in a month is really hard on her feet.
